Ubisoft announced today that come May 2010, gamers will be able to take a trip back into the world of the Prince in the fourth installment of last generations Sands of Time series with Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
“Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will feature many of the fan-favorite elements from the original series,” Ubisoft said, “As well as new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.”

The game is in development at Ubisoft Montreal for all consoles and handhelds with no information beyond that. More will be revealed at this year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards on December 12th.
The Sands of Time trilogy started with the critically acclaimed Sands of Time in 2003, the mixed feelings of Warrior Within in 2004 and the supurb Two Thrones in 2005.
